The Diamond C DET is a heavy-duty 102” wide deck-over tilt equipment trailer designed for equipment owners who want maximum usable deck space, easy loading, and the strength of Diamond C construction.
Unlike equipment trailers that position the deck between the tires, the DET places the entire deck above the wheels. This creates a full-width, unobstructed 102” deck with no fenders to work around, providing greater flexibility when loading wide equipment, attachments, pallets, tractors, skid steers, compact construction equipment, and other machinery.
Deck-Over Design
The defining feature of the DET is its deck-over configuration. With the tires positioned completely below the deck, cargo can utilize the trailer’s full width from one side to the other. There are no wheel wells or drive-over fenders occupying valuable deck space, making the DET especially well suited for wide equipment and loads where unrestricted deck width is important.
Tilt-Deck Loading
The DET’s tilt-deck design eliminates the need to handle traditional loading ramps. The deck tilts toward the ground to create a convenient loading approach for wheeled and tracked equipment, then returns to the transport position once the equipment is loaded.
This combination of a tilting deck and completely unobstructed 102” deck surface gives the DET exceptional versatility for equipment hauling.
Built for Serious Equipment Hauling
Diamond C builds the DET around its engineered frame design with heavy-duty running gear, cargo securement provisions, and a variety of available configurations and options. Multiple trailer lengths and axle choices allow the DET to be configured around different equipment, payload, and towing requirements.
From construction and landscaping equipment to tractors, attachments, machinery, and other wide loads, the Diamond C DET provides a premium hauling solution for customers who need strength, versatility, and maximum usable deck space.
DET vs. HXD
While both the Diamond C DET and HXD provide a 102” wide loading surface, they accomplish it differently. The DET is a true deck-over trailer with the deck positioned above the tires and no fenders interrupting the deck surface. The HXD uses drive-over fenders to provide its 102” usable width while maintaining a lower deck height.
For customers prioritizing an unrestricted deck from edge to edge, the DET’s deck-over design provides a clear advantage.
